- The analogue phone network (PSTN) and ISDN switch off on 31 January 2027. Anything still running on those lines stops working from that date.
- What is the PSTN?
- The Public Switched Telephone Network is the old copper phone network that has carried calls for decades. It's being retired in favour of calling over the internet (VoIP).
